The Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) has one study program, namely computer science. The opening of the Computer Science Study Program is based on letter Number 9210/E1/TP.01.06/2021 Regarding a copy of the decision of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Number 404/E/O/2021 on September 27, 2021 concerning the opening of an undergraduate computer science study program at Djuanda University in Bogor Regency organized by the Amaliyah Indonesia Islamic Development Study Center Foundation based on the request letter of the rector of Djuanda University Number 526/01/k-x/vi/2021 dated June 9, 2021 and the letter of the acting head of the higher education service institution region IV number 3321/LL4/AK/2021 dated May 28, 2021.
Initially, the Computer Science Study Program was one of the study programs that was part of the Faculty of Engineering and Halal Food Science (FTIPH) referring to the decision letter from the management of the Amaliyah Indonesia Islamic Development Study Center Foundation Number: 29 / SK / YPSPIAI / XI / 2021. After 1 year of existence, the Computer Science Study Program officially moved to become part of the Faculty of Social, Political and Computer Sciences (FISIPKOM). The Computer Science study program in 2022 meets the requirements of the BAIK Accreditation Rating based on BAN-PT decision letter No. 10485 / SK / BAN-PT / Ak.P / XII / 2022. In the first year of education (2021/2022 Academic Year), the Computer Science Study Program had 14 students, in the second year (2022/2023 Academic Year) there was an increase in students reaching 414% with 58 people. The total number of Fisipkom students in the 2022/2023 academic year is 715 people.
On Monday, September 4, 2023, the computer science study program officially became part of the faculty of computer science. the determination of the opening of the faculty of computer science is based on the inauguration of the computer science faculty structure which is held in the hall of Building C. the structure formed is the dean, vice dean 1 in the academic field and vice dean 2 non-academic midwife, Head of Study Program, to the Head of Administration of the Faculty of Computer Science.
