FILKOM UNIDA organizes Taaruf to unite the vision and mission into a quality faculty and study program.

On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the Smart Class in Building I of Djuanda University, the Dean's Office, faculty members, staff, and the Computer Science Student Association (HIMASTER) warmly welcomed the new students of the Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) and the Computer Science Study Program (ILKOM). The welcoming event began with a speech from the Dean of FILKOM, Mr. Ir. Himmatul Miftah, M.Si., who stated, "This event is a highly anticipated moment for all new students who are about to embark on their academic journey in the computer science program."

In his address, the Dean of FILKOM expressed pride and joy in welcoming the new students. He emphasized the importance of computer science education in an increasingly interconnected world driven by various technological advancements.

The event continued with an introduction to the Dean's Office structure within the Faculty of Computer Science, including the Dean, Academic Vice Dean, Non-Academic Vice Dean, Program Chair, Program Secretary, Laboratory Chair, faculty members, and staff members. Additionally, the Computer Science Student Association (HIMASTER) was introduced, including its chairman, vice chairman, secretary, and various divisions that students can participate in.

New students also received valuable advice from the Academic Vice Dean, Mr. Muhammad Encep, S.Kom., M.T.I., MTA, and the Non-Academic Vice Dean, Mr. Gugun Gunadi, S.Pd., M.Pd. The Academic Vice Dean emphasized the importance of sharing knowledge with computer science professors to expand their knowledge, as these professors not only serve as educators but also have extensive experience in the professional world. Furthermore, he stressed the integration of university learning with the three pillars of higher education: "Education, Research, and Community Engagement."

The entire community of the Faculty of Computer Science and the Computer Science Study Program agreed to build a sense of unity and family, striving for continuous improvement and spreading goodwill.

The introduction event for the Faculty of Computer Science and the Computer Science Study Program concluded with the spirited chant of the Computer Science slogan "No Counter," FILKOM's motto "Hebat Terpercaya Berprestasi Bisa. Bisa. Bisa.," and a group photo session with the new students, the Dean, and his team.
