Last Updated: 1 week ago

The Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM), Djuanda University, successfully conducted the 2026 Community Service Program (KKN) Orientation as an initial step in preparing students before they engage directly with local communities. This program serves as an important milestone in equipping students with academic readiness, professional ethics, and the adaptability needed to address various challenges they may encounter in the field.

Through this orientation, students were introduced to the strategic role of the Community Service Program (KKN) as a tangible implementation of the Five Pillars of Higher Education (Panca Dharma Perguruan Tinggi), particularly in the area of community engagement. In addition, participants were encouraged to identify the potential of local communities, design relevant work programs, and develop technology-based solutions that can provide meaningful and sustainable benefits to society.

As students of the Faculty of Computer Science, KKN participants are expected to become agents of change who not only possess strong technological competencies but also demonstrate social awareness, collaborative spirit, and integrity in carrying out community service initiatives. The digital innovations they develop are expected to make a significant contribution to empowering communities and supporting sustainable development in an increasingly technology-driven era.

The orientation was conducted in an enthusiastic and engaging atmosphere. Students actively participated in discussions, presentations, and interactive sessions led by faculty members and invited speakers, who shared practical insights and guidance on the implementation of the KKN program.

Through this orientation, the Faculty of Computer Science at Djuanda University is confident that its students are well prepared to apply their knowledge, technical skills, and leadership values while carrying out their community service assignments. Guided by the spirit of "Serving Through Innovation, Contributing to the Nation," students are expected to create lasting positive impacts on society while representing FILKOM as graduates who are competent, ethical, innovative, and ready to address the challenges of the digital age.
