The Faculty of Computer Science, Djuanda University held an inspirational industry visit to @america located in Jakarta on Saturday, February 1, 2025. The activity, which was attended by Structural, Staff, and as many as 50 students from the morning and afternoon classes, focused on the introduction of the Swift Student Challenge, a learning initiative from Apple to develop iOS applications.

The Swift Student Challenge Program introduced during this visit opened up new insights for students related to application development using the Swift programming language. This program is designed by Apple Development to prepare young developers to create innovative and high-quality iOS applications.
"This visit provides an opportunity for our students to get to know more about iOS application development technology through the Swift Student Challenge. Not only do they learn about the basics, but they also gain an in-depth understanding of the iOS app development ecosystem, best practices in coding, and career opportunities as iOS developers. We hope that students can develop their programming skills and be ready to compete in the technology industry," said Dr. Gugun Gunadi, S.Pd., M.Pd.I as Vice Dean II

Through the visit company program and expanding cooperation partners, the Faculty of Computer Science wants to produce graduates who not only master theory, but also have practical experience in mobile application development. With the knowledge from each visit and the material discussed while in class, students are expected to be able to develop an application or a website that is innovative and useful to the community
