The second day of the program, held on Wednesday (January 28, 2026), featured a structured agenda consisting of a Courtesy Visit, an Academic Seminar, and an Academic Workshop focusing on current issues in computing and digital innovation.

The activities at UiTM Melaka marked a significant step in the implementation of the program theme, “Strengthening International Academic Networks in Malaysia.” The sessions facilitated in-depth discussions on emerging topics in computer science, including digital transformation, data-driven systems, and technology-based solutions for regional development. The Academic Workshop further emphasized curriculum alignment, collaborative research opportunities, and best practices in managing research and innovation within higher education institutions.

Collaboration with UiTM Melaka is strategically designed to support the achievement of Higher Education Key Performance Indicators (IKU), particularly IKU 6 (Study Programs Collaborating with World-Class Partners) and IKU 5 (Lecturers’ Work Utilized by Society or Receiving International Recognition). Through this international academic engagement, Faculty of Computer Science lecturers are encouraged to enhance the global impact of their research and teaching activities.

Moreover, the exchange of knowledge and perspectives during this forum reflects the implementation of the Impactful Campus Program, where higher education institutions actively contribute to solving regional and global challenges through innovation, technology, and cross-border academic collaboration.
