The Computer Science Study Program organized a Curriculum Transformation Workshop with the theme "Curriculum Transformation of the Computer Science Study Program in Response to Developments & Implementation of ICT in the Business and Industrial Sectors (DUDI)" on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the SmartClass of the Faculty of Computer Science, djuanda University. The event was attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, representatives from industry partners, and the entire curriculum drafting team.
This workshop was held as an effort to ensure that the Computer Science Study Program curriculum remains relevant, adaptive, and capable of meeting competency requirements in the digital era. The rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT) requires higher education institutions to continuously update learning structures, teaching methods, and graduate learning outcomes (GLO) to align with the needs of the business and industrial sectors.
In this activity, speakers from academia and industry professionals presented various latest developments in the ICT world, including business process digitization, the application of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and the technical competencies needed by modern companies. These presentations serve as an important basis for aligning the curriculum and integrating more practical learning materials.
In addition, this workshop also discussed strengthening collaboration between study programs and industry partners in the form of internships, guest lectures, applied research, and the development of an outcome-based education (OBE) curriculum. This collaboration is expected to provide a more tangible learning experience for students and enhance graduates' readiness to face the workforce.
With the organization of this workshop, the Computer Science Study Program is committed to continuously innovating in developing a modern curriculum that is responsive to technological dynamics. This curriculum transformation is expected to have a positive impact on improving the quality of education, graduate competencies, as well as the program's contribution to the development of ICT in Indonesia.
